This fully funded 8-week residency program invites one talented writer from UNESCO Cities of Literature (or with a strong connection to them) to live and write at the peaceful Toji Cultural Centre. The program is completely free — it covers round-trip air travel, accommodation, meals, and local transportation. There is no application fee.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Upper-intermediate level of English or Korean language proficiency
- At least 5 years of creative writing experience
- At least one published creative work (in English, Korean, or translation)
- Current or past connection to a UNESCO City of Literature (verifiable)
- Strong interest in Korean culture and literature
- Willingness to participate in local literary events, interviews, and festivals
- Commitment to produce a short creative piece about Wonju or Korea during the residency
- Ability to stay for the full 8 weeks without deferral
