Applications are now open for the A*STAR Computing and Information Science (ACIS) Scholarship. This fully funded PhD scholarship supports outstanding students who want to pursue a doctorate in Computing and Information Science (CIS) fields in Singapore.
Offered by A*STAR, this programme helps scholars build strong research careers in industry, tech companies, spin-off companies, or academia. It focuses on real-world problems in areas like artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and more.
The scholarship is open to Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, and international students. There is no application fee. Deadline: 1 August 2026 (for January 2027 intake)

Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold at least a 2nd Upper Class Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Show strong interest in a research career in Computing and Information Science
- Apply for PhD admission at a Singapore university (mainly NUS) at the same time as the scholarship
- Submit at least 2 referee reports and a description of your proposed research area
- GRE scores are optional but can be submitted if available
