Applications are now open for the COP31 Climate Change Media Partnership (CCMP) Reporting Fellowship. This is a fully funded opportunity for professional journalists and creator journalists from low- and middle-income countries to attend and report on the 31st United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP31) in Antalya, Türkiye.
The fellowship provides complete financial support including travel, accommodation, meals, and a stipend. It is open to journalists with experience in climate change reporting. There is no application fee.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Be a professional journalist or creator journalist from an eligible low- or middle-income country
- Work for or have a confirmed commitment from an established media outlet
- Have prior experience reporting on climate change issues
- Never have attended a UNFCCC Climate COP in person before
- Be available to travel to Antalya for the full two weeks (November 9–20, 2026)
- Have good English language skills
- Provide a 2-minute video explaining their planned COP31 coverage
- Submit at least three recent climate-related stories (published May 15, 2025 – June 15, 2026)
- Provide a letter of support from an editor confirming that stories will be published
