Applications are now open for the COP31 Simulation Programme 2026 — a prestigious international youth programme organized by The British University in Egypt in partnership with UNDP Egypt.
This 5th edition offers university students worldwide a unique opportunity to simulate real United Nations climate negotiations (COP). Participants will develop skills in climate diplomacy, negotiation, research, and leadership. The programme ends with the chance to present outcomes at the real COP31 in Antalya, Türkiye.
It is open to university students from all nationalities. There is no application fee. Note: This is a partially funded / self-funded programme .

Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a university student (undergraduate or postgraduate)
- Passionate about climate change, environment, diplomacy, or global affairs
- Ready to actively participate in online and in-person activities
- Willing to engage in research, negotiations, and teamwork
- Good command of English (as it is the working language)
