Applications are now open for the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) International Scholarship Program for the year 2026.
This fully funded scholarship supports talented international students and doctoral candidates who want to study or conduct research in Germany. It is open to Bachelor’s (from the 2nd semester), Master’s, and PhD programs in almost all fields. The scholarship is fully funded and provides monthly financial support along with comprehensive non-financial benefits such as seminars, mentoring, and networking opportunities.
There is no application fee. The program is open to students from all nationalities (especially from non-EU countries).

What This Scholarship Offers:
As a KAS scholar, you will receive:
- Monthly stipend of up to €992 for Bachelor’s and Master’s students
- Monthly stipend of up to €1,400 for PhD candidates
- Health insurance subsidy (up to €120 per month)
- Family and child allowances (if applicable)
- Partial tuition fee support (up to €750 per semester in special cases)

Eligibility Criteria:
- You are an international student or doctoral candidate
- You have German language proficiency of at least B2 level (Goethe, TestDaF, DSH, or Telc)
- You plan to study in Germany for at least four semesters
- You have strong academic performance (above-average grades)
- You show active political, social, or voluntary engagement
- You support democratic values, rule of law, and human rights
- You are willing to contribute to better relations between your home country and Germany
Note:
- Bachelor’s applicants must have already completed at least 2 semesters at a German university.
- PhD applicants must have a supervisor and official acceptance.

Selection Process:
Shortlisted candidates are invited to a 45-minute interview with a selection committee. The interview focuses on your personality, academic goals, social engagement, and motivation.
