Applications are now open for the Merit Scholarship Program for Foreign Students (PBEEE) – Postdoctoral Fellowship at Université Laval in Quebec, Canada.

This is a fully funded scholarship offered by the Government of Quebec to attract outstanding international researchers. Selected candidates will receive $35,000 CAD for one year, full exemption from international tuition fees, and health insurance coverage.

The scholarship is open to international postdoctoral researchers in all academic fields. Université Laval can only preselect a limited number of applicants. There is no application fee.

  • Your postdoctoral supervisor at Université Laval must be different from your PhD supervisor
  • You must secure a professor at Université Laval who agrees to supervise your research project
  • You must not have previously received this Merit Scholarship from Quebec
