This is a fully funded research opportunity in sustainable food systems. The German Research Foundation (DFG) is supporting 24 Doctoral Researcher positions and 8 Postdoctoral Researcher positions. These roles are open to international applicants from various academic backgrounds. There is no application fee. The application deadline is 14 June 2026.

Eligibility Criteria:
For Doctoral Researchers:
- Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Strong interest in sustainable food systems and interdisciplinary research
- Excellent English language skills (both spoken and written)
- Willingness to travel internationally for research
For Postdoctoral Researchers:
- Have completed a PhD (Doctorate) in a relevant subject
- Proven research experience with publications in food system-related topics
- Strong interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Excellent English language skills
