IHE Delft Water and Development Partnership Programme Scholarships 2026

Applications are now open for the IHE Delft Water and Development Partnership Programme (WDPP) Scholarships 2026. This fully funded and partially funded scholarship supports students from selected Small Island Developing States (SIDS) who want to pursue an MSc in Water and Sustainable Development at IHE Delft Institute for Water Education in the Netherlands.

The scholarship deadline is 1 June 2026. There is no application fee.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Be a national of one of the eligible countries (listed below)
  • Have academic admission to the MSc Programme in Water and Sustainable Development
  • Live or work in one of the eligible countries
  • Agree to conduct your MSc research in your home country/region
  • Commit to return to your home country after completing the studies
  • Submit a strong Employer Statement (as one of your recommendation letters)
  • Show strong motivation, good academic record, and preferably relevant work experience

Strong priority is given to female candidates.

Belize, Cabo Verde, Comoros, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Fiji, Grenada, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Kiribati, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Micronesia, Montserrat, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, Samoa, Sao Tome & Principe, Solomon Islands, Suriname, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu.

How to Apply:

  1. Apply for admission to the MSc in Water and Sustainable Development at IHE Delft.
  2. You do not need a separate scholarship form. You will automatically be considered for the scholarship if you meet the eligibility criteria.
  3. Prepare a strong application, including your motivation answers and recommendation letters.
  4. Submit your English language test results before 1 June 2026.

Tip: Apply early and also look for other scholarships in case you need extra funding.
